I enrolled in a company called MUSIC WORLD found in the 3rd floor of Portavaga Mall, Baguio City. They are offering Drums lesson, Guitar lessons, Piano lessons, Violin lessons and Voice lessons where I enrolled in. In a day you will pay 150php for 45mins. and it tooks 12days for 1 session.
So, among those offered courses Why did I choose Voice lesson? It is because, I think this was the biggest musical percent that I have..before i tried piano lesson but I totally forgot all about it and singing is my passion....Anyway, I enrolled in a voice lesson because I want to develop the voice that i have, i want to know how to control voice, I know I can sing but not beautifully done!!
Anyway I want to introduce you to my beautiful voice teacher Maam Theresa :) She is so jolly! friendly! great singer! kind! I will give her all the positive adjectives!! :)
You can always see Maam smiling or laughing (loud) during the lesson that makes it enlightening and exciting! ..but then when she talks it was freakin' loud as if Maam was angry always! :)
Anyway, During my first day on her class i see her as a serious person! but na-ah!! During my first class i was totally comfortable.
On my first day, Maam let me choose a song and let me sing, afterwards, she enumerated the things that I lack and needs improvement and also commented on my positive points, It was so enlightening to hear those things from a knowledgeable person, I'm taking those comments as a guide and a way to develop what i have to improve...
For my almost 2months in her class, I already learned a lot from her and as she always say that I have improved compared on my first step, and everyone knows that my improvement was because of her :) Anyway the hardest song that i have passed was SLOW MOTION by Karina Pasian, Maam was the one who introduced this song to me. It was a HARD song really hard!! I love the song but i hate to sing it because it was so hard!! hahaha I can't really reach the song! anyway I passed it, I finished it!! :) The other songs that i have finished was HIMALA by Yeng Constantino, IF I AIN'T GOT YOU by Alicia Keys and I LOVE YOU GOODBYE by Nina.
I ended my voice lesson on the 25th of April 2012. I am missing everything, I miss my hot music room (hehe), I miss the lesson itself and I miss my Maam Theresa. Maam has been a part of my life, For almost 2months I have been with her, She shared her knowledge, She shared her smiles, She shared her opinions, She shared her awesome voice...and i'm missing all of it!!!
Anyway, I really suggest that if you are a music minded person try enrolling at the MUSIC WORLD you will learn a lot from the multi-talented teachers. I can also observe the closeness of the teachers here, and they were very accommodating and friendly to their students. Good Job! I definitely love the company!! :)
